Description
You take part in a public guided tour of the city. Meeting point is at the "Welcome Center Thun-Thunersee Tourism" near the Thun train station.

This unusual city tour lasts 1.5 hours and revolves around the theme of water. This means more than just the Aare and Lake Thun. You will learn how floods were tamed in Thun in the past. Mill wheels were driven by water and even night clubs had something to do with water. You'll also get answers to questions about how laundry was washed and where the bathing beauties used to swim in the Aare.

In addition to the exciting stories about water, there will also be an acting intervention.

In autumn, after the city tour, you can still experience free water games. They take place in four weeks in the period from the end of September to the end of October. The "Thuner Wasserzauber" is held in all weather conditions. The Aare basin is located in downtown Thun in front of the Hotel Freienhof. From Thun train station you walk about five minutes, from Mühleplatz about three minutes.
