This tour combines a stroll through the old town of Lucerne with a visit to the Stanserhorn. During a whole day you will explore the heart of Switzerland.

The tour starts at 9:30 am in Zurich, where you will meet your guide and the rest of the group. First, the tour takes you in a comfortable coach from Zurich to Lucerne. This ride offers beautiful views of the Swiss nature and the deep blue Lake Lucerne. During a short stopover you can already take your first photos.

An experienced tour guide will show you the most important attractions of the city of Lucerne during the ride through the city center. You will see the most important sights such as the Chapel Bridge, the Culture and Congress Center KKL and the Jesuit Church. Afterwards you will have free time to visit this wonderful old town on your own

After the visit to the old town, you continue on your own by public transport to Stans. Here the old-timer funicular and the convertible cable car will take you to the top of the Stanserhorn. You won't soon forget the ride in the convertible. Here you can float up the mountain in the fresh air on the upper deck.

Arrived at the top station of the Stanserhorn at 1900 m.a.s.l., you can enjoy breathtaking views and pay a visit to the revolving restaurant Rondorama. If you like, you can take a short hike to the top of the mountain and enjoy the mountain panorama even more. Also keep your eyes open for marmots. These cuddly mountain dwellers live up here in the marmot park and also off in the wild.

When you are ready, you will travel independently by public transport to Lucerne. Here the coach waits for you and brings you back to Zurich in the evening.

The revolving restaurant on the Stanserhorn is famous for its legendary Älplermagronen. This traditional Swiss dish consists of pasta, potatoes, roasted onions and delicious apple sauce. Served in large portions that you can share or eat yourself if you are very hungry. If you like, you can eat on the revolving platform in the restaurant, getting a 360° view over the mountain landscape of central Switzerland.
