Outdoor Fondue

The Swiss love their fondue. One annoying side effect of a delicious fondue, however, is that afterwards your hair, clothes and the whole apartment smells of it. The perfect solution to this is an outdoor fondue. Either build a fire yourself or go to one of over 500 public fireplaces. Very important; don't forget a good white wine to go with it.

At the Maestrani Chocolarium, you'll embark on an interactive experiential tour of the chocolate factory, watch the chocolatiers in production, learn more about 'happiness and chocolate' in an exciting feature film, and get to ask a show confectioner all your questions about the world of chocolate. And yes, of course you can also taste a lot of chocolate. At the latest when you see the chocolate fountain, there's not much left until you reach the land of milk and honey.

Llama and Alpaca Trekking

Mountain railways

Did you know that there are more than 300 mountain railroads in Switzerland? They take you to the mountains not only in winter for skiing, but also all year round for hiking or biking. So if you and your family don't like to climb to the top on your own initiative, you can take the mountain railroad for a wonderfully relaxed ride either from the valley to the summit or vice versa.
