Küssnacht is a village on the northern shores of Lake Lucerne and at the foot of the Rigi. From here a cable car leads to the sunny Seebodenalp. Seebodenalp is located on the northwest side of the Rigi and offers nature experiences with a far-reaching view. Küssnacht became famous through Wilhelm Tell, who is said to have shot the bailiff Gessler in the Hohlen Gasse after Immensee. Like the ruins of the Gesslerburg, the Hohle Gasse with the Tell Chapel is one of Switzerland's cultural treasures. (Photo: Nico Schaerer, Switzerland Tourism)
